Sephis has developed a large and dynamic network of scholars and activists worldwide. Some of them are now Affiliated Researchers because their careers, research projects and political attitudes continue to contribute to the spirit of our institution. A great number of them received one of the nearly 150 individual research grants (PhD and Postdoctoral grants) or 70 small grants, or participated in one of the 280 workshops and training programs Sephis has organized in the past 25 years. Our funding programs have contributed with the formation of scholars who have been engaged in the construction of institutions in their respective countries but also abroad. This attitude has also helped maintaining graduate programs and research networks, ensuring the development of future generations of scientists in peripheral countries through the continuous expansion of our global dialogues.
